Hi, my name is Ashley Seonia. I am currently a senior at Walatowa High Charter School. At school, I like to learn new things and hang out with friends and have fun! I am sure going to make the best of my senior year because it is my last year of high school.  Man it went by fast! My interests are hanging with friends and family, my boyfriend, listening to music, eating, cooking, laughing, working hard, traveling, and a lot more. Favorite colors are Pink, Orange, Turquoise and Brown. They rock.  Traveled to Mexico and India and I loved it, wouldn’t mind going back. I will also be traveling for a semester to Hawaii, well hopefully. I am very excited.  I love to listen to all kinds of music but mostly R&B. After graduation, I would love to attend the University of Arizona or Fort Lewis College in the fall of 2008. I am planning on majoring in Early Childhood Education. Well that’s pretty much it!  Just loving my life as it goes!!
  Hello there…. my name is Brittney Baca. I’m a SeNiOR at WHCS. I’m 17 years old going to be 18 pretty soon, my birthday is on December 22. I’m on the Volleyball team, I’m the NHS President, On my free time I enjoy doing my Abstract Paintings, I LOVE to listen to music. Heavy Metal and 80’s rock all the way!!! I LOVE going to MeTaL concerts. My favorite Metal artist is Marilyn Manson; it would mean the world to meet him in person. Let’s see what else…….I plan on attending college after I graduate. I don’t really know which college to attend yet. I’m a very shy person but once you get to know me I like to tell jokes (even if they are pretty crappy) I like to smile and laugh a lot. All my friends know my personality is free-spirited and outgoing. I’m a very kind person and I treat people how I would want to be treated with REPSECT! Well this is me. –Brittney-
  Hello, my name is Byron Raymond Allen Tafoya and I am currently 17 years old, I will be turning 18 on March 13 ’08! I am a senior at Walatowa High Charter School, so I guess I could say it’s cool. Well all my life, I’ve been living in Jemez Pueblo, and it totally ROCKS! My membership of clan is eagle; we get clan from our maternal side. My favorite things to do are go hunting in the back roads or sometimes do the spot-and-stalk hunting, which I’m totally good at. I get tips from the best hunters, my uncles and my grandpa, Thanks guys, love you. My future plans after high school is going to Ft. Lewis in Durango in the field of either archaeology or anthropology.

 

 Hi my name is Daryl Baca and I’m a senior at the Walatowa High Charter School. I like to play basketball, listening to music, playing my guitar, eating, watching movies, and relax on whatever time I have.  I would like to further my studies after high school and go to school for auto mechanics.  The school I would like to attend would maybe either Wyotech or CNM. I like attending the Walatowa High Charter School and plan on graduating with all my classmates.   
 

Wat’s good wit YA’ll! My name is Audrianna Sandia (Audre/Neomi). I am 17 years old and from the tribes of Jemez, Laguna, Hopi, and Navajo.  I am currently a senior at the Walatowa High Carter School. I was last registered at Santa Fe Indian School and lived there from the 7th grade until my junior year. I met many other students from different tribes. I liked staying there until I had made a change in my life that made me come to Jemez and continue at the WCHS for my senior year. Living here is a big change for me, but willing to make it out for the fullest. I got to know many people here at the school and around Jemez. As you get to know me I can be shy.  I am outgoing, lade back and cool I guess people I talk to could say.  Then I am a person who doesn’t judge about a person by there cover of action unless I know that person very well. I can be serious most of the time when it comes to family and close friends. As for hobbies I like to chill with friends, listen to my music which is RAP, play volleyball and Basketball, and spend time with my family and my boyfriend’s family. O and I also enjoy making Hopi Pottery. Other then that this is who I am LATA!!!

 
Hey my name is Dominic Toya from the Pueblo of Jemez. I am a senior at Walatowa High Charter School, I am 17 years old. I like to play baseball, go hunting, and hang out with friends. I hunt for deer, elk, bear, rabbits, and I guess mostly everything I see. My favorite colors are navy blue and white because those are the colors of my baseball team; the New York Yankees. The thing I like to do most is be with my girl. We're always together, well not always, but most of the time. I help out my family and my pueblo in anyway I can. I like to dance and I always dance when those times come. I have one brother and two sisters. My goals are to finish high school and maybe go on in  higher education or go to work. Well that’s all I got to say for now bye for now till next time.

 

 My name is Lyle Vigil I’m a senior student at Walatowa High Charter School, and I like learning about my history of Jemez. I have been studying all kinds of subjects in my high school years, I enjoy my math class, and my art class this year because I am working on jewelry and I like to learn more about making jewelry so I can work on that to make some extra money in the future. I like listening to music while I work that’s why I would like to go to school at CNM to study either automotive technology or carpentry something to work on something with my hands because I like to work on building things and accomplishing what I have started.

Hi!  My name is Lynnora Ignacia Sabaquie.  I am 18 years old.  My birthday is on August 25.  My sign is a Virgo.   I am a senior.  I am from Jemez Pueblo.  I am nice person and also am a good listener, so you can talk to me about anything.   I play volleyball and basketball.  I enjoy listening to music.  The type of music I listen to is just whatever sounds good to me.  I just like to have fun and just hanging out.   My favorite color is pink.   My favorite song right now is “Candy kisses” by Amanda Perez and “Beautiful Girls” by Sean Kingston.  I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and friends.  After graduation I am going to school at CNM for two years and transfer to a university, maybe at ASU or UNM.  I am going to major in nursing.

 
  Hello my name is Valene Gachupin. I am from Jemez Pueblo, NM. I am a senior this school year. I go to school at Walatowa High Charter. I’m 17 years old. My birthday is on January 7. My sign is Capricorn. My favorite hobbies are playing basketball and volleyball. During my spare time I like listening to the radio and hanging out with my family and friends. I like listening to Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, and little bite of Rock. My favorite song right now is Buy you a drink by T-Pain and Big Girls Don’t Cry by Fergie and the remix with Sean Kingston. Well I have a lot of favorite songs but I don’t want to type them in. I also have a lot of favorite movies. I like watching anything but as long as its not too old. Well I don’t know what to say so this is what I like and what I like to do. 

 

Hi my name is Kenneth Toya I live here in the Pueblo. I attend the Walatowa High Charter School I am currently a senior and hopefully after I graduate attend WYOtech to become an auto-diesel mechanic. After school I usually just go home and relax with my cousin or either just go cruise the back roads and practice with our guns. But yeah my life is pretty much just like a normal citizen boring. Wake up, shower, get dressed, go to school, study, come home and then same thing next day. Well anyway my interests are reading the 4-wheeler magazine and playing tennis or either roller skating. My best friends forever are Gabriel Rodriguez, John McDonald, Raymond Allen, Rodger Jones, and Gregg Walles. Well any other info on me you can probably look me up on the internet as Willie Nelson or Josh Jones.  Well anyway Bye
Wazz up, my name iz Maverick Romero and I am a senior at Walatowa High Charter School. I will be 18 on October 16, 2007 and I have been living in Jemez all my life. I’m in two society groups and they are the Arrow Society and the Cougar Society. I have been in the Arrow Society for about five years and the Cougar Society for three years. Being in those two societies have made me learn a lot of things and I’m glad to be in those groups.  I like to go hunting in the back roads of Jemez Pueblo and in the mountains in our reservation.
Whatz up, my name is Justin Fragua I’m from Walatowa, Jemez Pueblo. I’m a senior at Walatowa High Charter School. I will be 18 on September 30. I’m a member of a warrior society in Jemez called arrow society and I predicate in the society also in the community in ceremonies and other religious traditional actives. I like to be active, I can’t sit all day at my house, I have to do something like go hunting, fishing, hiking, and other great thing that I do with family and friends. I like to travel and see the world. I have been to many of the states in the country. I have been to places like Canada, Mexico, Japan, Singapore, India, and Indonesia. That is a little something about myself later, peace, I’m out.
