My hobbies most of the time are playing basketball and listening to music. I listen to different kinds of music but mainly hip hop and rock. I’m a pretty mellow teen that likes to get lean…...in my chair. I like all sports except tennis. After high school I plan to go to college but I’m still uncertain where.. Hello, my name is Matthew C Gachupin. I’ am 15 years old. I’ am from Jemez Pueblo New Mexico.  My middle name is Chris and that’s what my Friends call me. I have 2 sisters. My favorite hobbies are hunting, fishing, and horseback riding. I like to go hunting with my mom’s friend in Cuba. I got my first 3 turkeys just this past fall. I like riding around in my truck and helping my Grandpa and my relatives with work. I also like playing video games on my spare time. I don’t really like staying inside my house because it gets boring. So I end up outside doing something. I participate in my in traditions and dances that the pueblo has. I like to participate in my society doings too. When I go horse back I usually go with my cousin. We ride on the back roads and trails. We see a lot of wildlife and that’s what I like. After high school and college I plan to be a wildlife biologist because I like the wildlife and the outdoors

Hello people! My name is Bradley Loretto and I am from Jemez Pueblo. I was born on June 3, 1992. I’m 15 years old. I attend school at Walatowa High Charter School and I am a sophomore. After high school I want to attend college at Syracuse or either U.S.C or UCLA. If I go to college I would like to join sports. My hero is my sister and she is cool and I love her very much and her kids (My nieces). My oldest niece is Cleo and she goes to school at the Charter, and my other niece is Chrishelda but people call her (Rainy) and my baby niece is the coolest. When I’m bored at home I either just chill out or go to my friends house Bryson or my other cousins. Music that I listen is more like type of 80s rock like Queensryche, Whitesnake, Motley Crue and more. I also listen to soul music in the 70s. I would like to attend sports at the charter. I would like to join basketball, baseball, and cross-country. I like to watch sports on television. My favorite NBA team is the Denver Nuggets, My MLB team is the St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves and also my NFL team is the Indianapolis Colts. THAT’S ALL I HAVE 2 SAY!!!!!

Hello, my name is Mary Beth Toya. I’m a sophomore attending Walatowa High Charter. My favorite color in the whole wide world is BLUE! I love Blue will any kind of blue, just as long as it’s blue. I’ll marry Blue is I have to, can’t like live without blue. My favorite song is I got it from my mamma! Lol j/k I don’t have a favorite song I like all kinds of songs. I’m always listening to Shawty, big girls don’t cry (remix), Me Love, and I fell in love with the DJ!  MY favorite sport is Volley ball, basket ball, and some times running. When I finish high school I want to go to school to become a medical assistant like my sister Myra. She is a good sis to me so is my bro Anthony Garret I love both of them and I love my mom too she always there for me when I need her and I’ll always be there for her when she needs me. Well now I guess I have to write about what I like to do when I’m not at school. When I’m not attending school I sometimes stay home but most times I’m out and about but still go home. Other than that I’m bored doing nothing. But if I’m not out I’ll be home taking care of my nephew. I like going shopping spending money, buying anything I want, getting pedicures so my toes can look pretty ful! Ha but yea. And I like traveling places this year I went to Washington D.C. with my classmates from school it was fun I think don’t really remember when we were out there the places we went to got me sleepy and lazy but the two places I like most of all was at the Bolivian Embassy and the Library of Congress.

Hi my name is Delfino Kevin Castillo. I am 15 years old. My birthday is July 26. My favorite sport is basketball. I like to go hunting a lot. My favorite football team is the Denver Broncos. Five years ago I was in the NAIG (North American Indigenous Games) in Canada, Winnipeg. The NAIG is every four years, last year it was in Denver Colorado. The next NAIG will be in BC next year I will try to make it in archery which will be hard, because there are a lot of good shooters. The music that I like to listen to is hip-hop, rock and COUNTRY. I am Angel’s friend here in Jemez Pueblo. We play a lot of basketball with Bradley. Well that’s pretty much what we do after school is just hangout and play some basketball. I live in a two story house on the rezz. I have five sisters and one brother. I am a sophomore in high school. My favorite baseball team is Atlanta Braves, The places I would really love to visit is Japan. My favorite class is ART.  

Hello, my name is Mr. Davin Sandia and I was born on February 16, 1992 I’m 15 years old. I attend school at the Walatowa High Charter and I’m a sophomore, after me finishing high school I want to attend college at the University of New Mexico and play baseball on a college level. I’ve always had a dream that I wanted to be a professional ball player and play for the Albuquerque Isotopes or maybe even in the bigs which I’m looking forward to in the future. And my favorite MiLB baseball team is the Albuquerque Isotopes and MLB is the St. Louis Cardinals. My role models are Albert Pujols, Jim Edmonds, Yadier Molina, Chris Duncan, Barry Bonds, Miguel Cabrera, Miguel Tejada, Manny Ramirez, Travis Hafner, and Victor Martinez, and for MLB is Robert Andino, Reggie Abercrombie, Scott Seabol, and Valentino Pascucci, and those are the guys I look up by playing baseball. Although I’ve got hobbies to  and those hobbies are collecting baseball cards; go to Isotopes games, playing videogames, drawing, hunting, and fishing. I love to collect baseball cards because in the future they are going to be worth a lot as years go by and aw Isotopes games I go to the games because I watch them how they play their game. And playing videogames I own a PSP and me and my bros we own a PS2 and we like to play videogames especially Guitar Hero, MVP baseball, Need for speed, and 2k5 football, and for me on my PSP I play MLB the show07, and madden 07. And drawing I like to draw baseball players others stuff, hunting love to hunt with my friends, and fishing with my cousins and bros. So I think that’s about it. What’s up my name is Bryson my friends call me Bry. I am half Jemez and half Taos. I am into sports I like to run Cross Country and I like to play Basketball. I go to school at Walatowa Chater High School I have a Grip a friends at my school. I have two brother’s my oldest bro is Merlin and my youngest bro is Thomas. I take care of my little bro, that kid is funny he makes me laugh a lot. When am not doing anything I like to talk on the phone or text that is the only thing I like to do when am at my house being lazy. When it is boring at home, I just hang out with my friend Bradley, he and I just talk about girls. I also like to spent some of my time up in Taos to help my Grandpa out with a lot of things when I go up there their is  no such thing as boring. We go fishing after were done with all our work. Its fun I do not have anything to worry about just the lake and me. I grow most of my childhood in Taos and when I was about six, my family moved to Jemez. I lived here for about ten years and those years went by fast. I also have a group of cousins there cool to hang out with sometimes we get in to trouble and sometimes we don’t really care if we do are not. Well, that is all about me most of it.
